Hello fellow anglers sorry about the long absence from posting my fishing reports but i have been fighting MAJOR computer problems. Now I’m back on line and has the fishing ever been better for the fall I just don’t remember. We made a trip into the close marsh  with Mr Dave Skyler and Tom from Denham Springs and Central respectfully.

After loading the live wells with Campos cocahoes  we headed to the lake and at the first stop we caught about 10 fish scattered about in and around the broken islands and in a few cuts that had a little water flow i them , that was the key for the day was find spots that had  a little water movement going on and the fish were there and hungry but they weren’t stacked up just 2 here and 3 or 4 there but plenty enough action to keep us interested and to fill the box with some prime trout for the grease. The tide was on a good fall and the fish that we caught  mostly on berkley gulp shrimp in the new shrimp color.

These guy’s could really fish and had a great time catching fish and laughing and joking with each other and me and giving each other a hard time either about missing a fish or who had the largest fish of the day. The final fish count for the day was 69 fat speckled trout 5 reds up to 10 pounds 1 flounder. These guys fish with me on a regular basis and cant wait until next time we go out.

Also guys and gals the spring fishing blow out season is fast approaching and the week end days are going fast so if you are planing a trip with for this spring get your dates locked in early please.

The fishing is as good as it gets in the fall in the interior marshes right so if you would like to go stretch your line give me a call or drop me an email I’d love to go fishing with you. And remember our motto RAIN OR SHINE SLEET OR  SNOW IF YOU COME WE WILL GO.

Thanks Capt Ron
