Hello fellow anglers. Its been such a good spring in Shell Beach with the fishing as good as it gets and today was no different. We met Mr. Bob & Mrs. Darlene in from Jackson Mississippi for a relaxing and fun filled day of fishing. We filled the live wells with bait and we were off to the hot spot and one stop was all it took to fill the fish box to the rim with quality trout and reds. On the first cast Mrs. Darlene hooked up with a fat red fish and it was on from there & she gave Mr. Bob a run for his money all day long never putting the rod down until the final fish hit the ice. All fish today fell to live shrimp fished 3 feet under a rattling cork today and the fish count today was 88 speckled trout 9 red fish and 2 flounders. This couple could really fish and were such a joy to fish with today and they were ecstatic with their trip and cant wait until their next trip with us as soon as they can arrange one.

exception. After loading the bait tank with Campos live and kicking shrimp we made a one stop shopping trip. We puled up on my hot spot for the last 2 weeks and that was a wrap as they say from the first cast until the tide slowed along with the bite it was trout and large reds one after the other with some of the trout pushing the 6 pound range and some of the red fish up to 20 pounds.
