Hello fellow anglers. Made a fun two day trip for Capt. Gene Dugas with a couple of loggers in from Alabama for a little rest and relaxation Louisiana style, if you know what I mean. We met the group at the dock at 5 am and we were off to the hot spot but today the fish were smaller than they have been for the last week or so we made a move a little further out into the sound and picked up about 15 more trout but even there the action was slower than usual so on

to spot 3 and that was all it took to fill out the guys limits of fat speckled trout. Then we made a move to the old red fish hole and and we caught 5 reds and 4 bay snappers and 2 flounders to fill the fish box to its limits. A good time was had by all and the guys were ready for a nap and we headed to the barn. The final fish count for day one was 72 trout 5 red fish and 4 bay snappers and 2 flounders.
Day two the guys wanted to catch red fish so we stayed close in the interior lakes and ended up limiting out on reds and caught 4 drums and 6 bonus trout to boot. These guys were regular customers of Capt. Gene and could really fish and had a blast with us and cant wait until their next trip back down to the beach.
