Hello fellow anglers. What a great time at the beach. Today I had the pleasure of guiding Mr. Willie and his lovely wife Taya in from Baton Rouge to catch some fish for the grease and that we did. After loading up with some bait it was off to the sound and one stop was all it took when we hit the sound and saw the clean water with piles of bait every where I knew it was on like donkey Kong and boy was I ever right because from the very first cast until the fish box had to be stomped down to latch it the fish were eating it up with trout after trout flying over the gunwale and some nice ones up to 4 pounds mixed in with them. After we filled their limits of fat trout Willie said could we see if we could catch some red fish and after a short move it was on there with them catching red fish black drums and bay snappers mixed in just for the pure rod bending action that they were looking for.
After their last couple of trips with out catching many fish Mr. Willie decided he would try some place different and after today’s results he said that he had found his new fishing home. The total fish count for the day was 77 specks 7 red fish 6 drums and 10 bay snappers (a box filled to its limit). Willie was already talking about his next trip to the beach with us and bringing his whole family with him the next time and I told him that was like music to my ears and told him that was the best compliment that a customer could give us.
