The perfect end to a perfect day!!!!!!! Priceless

The perfect end to a perfect day!!!!!!! Priceless

Hello fellow anglers. Its always a great pleasure to introduce the next generation of great outdoors men to our wonderful resources that we are so blessed  with here in Louisiana and today was one of those days. We me Mr. Marty and Chris (the fish slayer) at the dock and they were early ready and eager to get on the water for some great fish catching action and today was one of those days  in spades as they say. As we left the dock Marty said all he wanted to do today was get Chris on some fish and that was  just what we did at the first stop we started the day with some red fish but the bite slowed a bit and we made a move to some structure in the sound and the bite was on it was trout  after trout flying over the side until we had our limits. The slayer was as busy as a bee trying to keep up with the bite and asking questions about why the fish were there and why they liked the live shrimp so much.  After we accomplished phase one with a box of fat speckled trout Marty asked of we could catch Chris just one bull red fish and we slipped into one of my favorite red fish holes and it wasn’t 2 minutes and Chris was hooked up with the largest fish of his life and the battle was on and he also had an audience of Wildlife boys in a boat in the canal behind us that stayed to watch the whole battle and even gave a round of applause after we landed a fat 12 pound red fish for Chris.  The icing on the cake of a perfect day.

It was sure was a hot one today but Chris was a real trooper and he hardly never took a break between reeling in fish and catching more live bait to fish with he and uncle Marty had a great time and caught a box full of fish to boot. Before we even cranked the motor for the ride home Chris was already talking about his next fishing trip and how much fun he had today. Chris so much reminded me of my earlier days on the boat it brought back fond memories of some of my own earlier fishing trips and I think Chris will remember his first real fishing trip for a long long time also.

All the fish were caught today on live shrimp 3 feet under a rattling cork with live Campos shrimp. The fish count was 50 fat speckled trout 7 red fish and 5 bay snappers and 2 puppy drums and one wore out fisherman.
